I like robots

Man, I wish I could draw like you. I mean, I can; I could easily copy this, but I'm invalid without reference. I have little sense of 3D space so it's difficult for me to draw robotic geometries. I give you kudos for both having the idea and being able to express it. This reminds me of the "Acguy" from Gundam, the two tone on the tank stands out nicely.

Dude, you definitely need some thicker outlines, or at least some more contrast between skin shades and the outside of the cloth. It looks way too gradient-y, like N64 graphics. An easy solution would be to take into Photoshop, duplicate it, use the "posterize" filter on one of them, and mess around with layer blending. Also, the boobs are disobeying the laws of physics.

i deliberately do the outlines that thin - i hate thick outlines, they look hideous and chunky (although i don't mind them in manga comics).

Dude, you do some nice work. This, along with the other profile illustration are my favorites. There's something eerie and interesting about an expressionless toon; very reminiscent of Panzer Dragoon concept art, great use use of color harmony.

Your illustration is really interesting, what was your reference material? I'm sure you drew this out of thin air, but I see similarities of other works: the head is very Oddworld-ish, a Star Wars-y staff, and a Goron belly. Maybe I just have too much free time.

I didn't use reference material, I just elaborated on my step-fathers physique ( big firm belly ) :D [strange, I know. ]
